Well we have made it almost through 10 weeks of Kyle being gone for training. He will be coming home this weekend for a little bit, and then back to training. As it gets closer to his coming home it only gets closer to his deployment. I have tried to prepare myself as best I can for it but receiving our tri-care insurance in the mail the other day is when it hit me, this is real and it has only just begun. These 10 weeks have been hard but we still have the 8 month deployment ahead. Emotions have been running strong and will probably only continue to do so until the deployment is over. But God is going to see us through this and I know He has amazing things to show us about ourselves and our relationship with Him. How families do this without God is beyond my imagination. Just remembering that all I have to do is to trust in Him, and the rest He will do is so comforting. Jesus your all I need!
With the deployment slowly approaching, we are trying to get certain things together for Kyle to take with him. One of which is a lap top. He will be able to keep in touch with us (through web cam!), watch DVDs and store pictures, movies etc. As you may know our income is not as healthy as it used to be, so any donations toward this would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

1 week and 5 days..
We are anticipating Kyle's return from squad leaders school. It will be bitter sweet because he will be home for about a week and then return to his unit. His unit will be activated and begin training in the next few weeks for deployment. When they deploy and where is still unknown.
But we are very excited to see him and spend as much time with him as possible. Kyle is glad to have the course almost behind him, he is doing very well. He has received some of the highest scores in the class on tests, and achieved some personal goals as well. We are very proud! This week they spend the week in the field training so we won't hear from him until Friday.
